Hot Crab Dip

 


8 ounces cream cheese
½ cup sour cream
2 Tablespoons mayonnaise
1¼ teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
1 Tablespoon lemon juice
½ teaspoon dry mustard
⅛ teaspoon garlic powder
⅔ teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
1 Tablespoon milk (more or less)
1 pound crab meat

Mix all ingredients except cheddar cheese, milk, and crab until creamy. Stir in 3 Tablespoons cheese. Add milk a little at a time until mix is creamy but thick. Fold in crab. Place in a greased casserole dish, top with remaining cheese.

Bake at 325° F for 30 to 40 minutes or until cheese is bubbly. Serve with toasted pumpernickel, cocktail bread, or assorted crackers, or you can bake and serve in a bread bowl.
