No-Bake Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

  • 2 cups sugar
  • ½ cup milk
  • 1 stick butter
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups raw quick-cooking rolled oats
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup sweetened coconut

Put sugar, milk, butter, cocoa, and salt in large saucepan; bring to boil. Remove from heat and stir in rolled oats, vanilla, nuts, and coconut. Drop from teaspoon onto waxed paper to make about 48 cookies.
