Beverages

White Russian

1 Servings

  • 1½ ounces vodka
  • 1½ ounces coffee liqueur (Kahlua)
  • 3 ounces milk

Put some ice in a rocks glass. Pour the vodka, coffee liqueur, and milk over the ice. Stir to combine.

Note: There are other ways to mix this drink. One is to pour the vodka and coffee liqueur over the ice, and then gently pour the milk over the back of a spoon to layer it so that it floats on top of the liquor. A second option is to put all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, shake, and strain into a glass (with or without ice in it). This makes it slightly frothy. The traditional dairy in this beverage is heavy cream, but we prefer milk.
